CRKT Sangrador Double Edge G10 Dagger 2080

CRKT enlisted former Army Ranger Darrin Sirois to design the Sangrador Dual Edge Dagger from their Forged By War series of tactical knives. Darrin's many years in the field was the experience needed to create a knife any Special Operations fighter would want by their side. 

The Blade: Latin for "Bleeder", the Sangrador takes its position seriously. This is a stout blade. Built with a full tang of super thick (0.183 inch) tough-as-nails SK5 carbon steel. The dagger blade is ground to a razor's edge on both sides and includes tearing Veff Serrations. This piercer is just a hair over 5.5 inches and has received a durable. non-reflective Black powder coated finish. This coating is black as night and built to last. A small blood groove is ground down the middle of each side. 

The Handle: Medium-textured Black G-10 handle scales are secured to the tang with large torx screws. It's quite comfortable and offers a nice guard to protect your hands. There is a middle swell to fill the palm in forward or reverse grip. 

The Sangrador is quite the impressive dagger. The build and quality of the knife is outstanding. The Forged by War series will have people talking. The Sangrador includes a MOLLE compatible Black Nylon sheath with front compartment for essential accessories. 

About SK5 Steel: There are many forms of steel that knives and tools are made with. The sk-5 high carbon steel blade is of the highest quality for making blades. It is the Japanese equivalent to American 1080. It is hard steel that makes it create high quality blades and tools. Sk5 high carbon steel gives a knife the ability to cut through practically anything. It is very tough steel. It has a hardness of Rc 65. It produces a mixture of carbon rich martinsite with a few un-dissolved carbides. This steel is essential to creating the perfect blades for your use. The extra carbide will increase the abrasion resistance and lets the steel attain an ideal balance of good blade toughness. It also gives excellent edge binding ability.
