Details

The F-3 Medium Flipper from Curtiss Knives is a class leader. It's an excellent size with fiery flipping action and some snazzy HHH Stainless Damascus. This one is new direct from maker David Curtiss.

The Blade: This modified drop is completely crafted from HHH stainless damascus and has an aggressive tip. It's compound ground and has a scary sharp zero grind front edge. Very point, very slicey. A flipper tab has light texturing for easy firing and doubles as a finger guard. It's an absolute rocket out of the handle as it flies on a caged bearings S.P.O.T. Pivot system. This system not only creates the lightning fast action, but prevents stop pin and lock bar over travel. The damascus pattern is too cool, and so different. It looks like a wavy barbed wire. David added some aggressive jimping to the spine as well for a nice, grippy thumb ramp.

The Handle: Fully blasted and stonewashed titanium frame is thick, dark and worn-in looking. Very hardcore apocalyptic feeling. A piece of the HHH Stainless Damascus in inlaid into the presentation scale as well as either side of the pivot to match. The handle is very comfortable, ergonimic and perfect for any medium sized hand. This knife has early, solid lock up thanks for a frame lock mechanism with D2 tool steel lockface insert. The steel insert creates smooth, easy disengagement of the lock bar to close the knife. Finishing touches include a small, notched titanium backspacer and tip up carry Curtiss Crosshairs titanium pocket clip for carry.

Our dressed up F-3 Medium Flipper from Curtiss Knives would make an excellent addition to any collection.
