Details

Likely one of the last art style knives we will see from John W. Smith, this stunning gentleman's folder has it all! From carved mother of pearl handles scales to a file worked back spacer and Damascus blade and bolster. This is a fine addition to any knife collection and is expertly crafted with precision and attention to detail.

Brand new direct from Maker.

The Blade: The utilitarian drop point blade is made from a dark etched Damascus with crowned and file worked spine details. The blade opens with a glassy smoothness via a finely detailed gold anodized thumb stud. The "JWS" logo is stamped on the blade tang.

The Handle: The handle on this knife is a true work of art. Gold anodized liners house a crowned and file worked back spacer that matches the spine of the blade. Inside the liners you will fine Engine Turning, a form of fine machine work that forms a repeating motif. On the outside of the liners are beautiful Damascus bolsters diamond patterned peral handle scales that are held on by fine jeweled screws. Every detail of this knife has been meticulously thought out and hand crafted.

This custom ships with a soft cotton storage pouch.
