The New Alcyone folder from Spyderco Knives is a smaller version of the budget-friendly EDC Polestar that is built with some top-notch materials. Brand new directly from Spyderco.

The Blade: Leaf shaped blade features a full flat grind and ambidextrous Trademark Round Hole Opener. Crafted from USA Made CTS-BD1 Carpenter Steel offering high corrosion resistance and good edge retention. It should be a breeze to sharpen as well. The lack of an index finger choil means that nearly all of the sub-3" blade is cutting edge. 

The Handle: Ergonomic and eye-catching, the Alcyone's handles are made from a high traction checked G10 mounted to robust, skeletonized stainless steel liners. On of the liners functions as the locking mechanism for secure operation of the knife and is easily accessed for closing thanks to a generous cutout in the front scale. This cutout also enhances the already secure grip. The Alcyone carries securely via a 4-position, stainless steel pocket clip with oversized lanyard hole.
