This hand-made Custom DP1 Folder by Aaron Frederick features Chad Nichols 3V stainless Damascus and Lightning Strike Carbon Fiber. Just exquisitely crafted, every small detail by hand. It is a medium-large sized folder with a snazzy tactical look. This one is brand new direct from Mr. Aaron Frederick.
The Blade: The 3V Damascus is hollow ground to a drop point with slight upper swedge and diagonal jimping on the thumb rest. It opens smoothly via its "Flying Saucer" styled MokuTi thumb disk and locks up solid when open. Aaron's logo appears at the base of the tang.
The Handle: Gunmetal grey Zirconium bolsters accent the darker blade and LS carbon fiber handle scales for a stellar look. Ergonomic and palm-filling. Polished, jeweled and blue ano'd titanium liners are hand-filed and hold tight to a thicker backspacer creating solid-as-a-rock construction. And gorgeous too!
This DP1 Large Folder is finished off with a Zirconium pocket clip made by Aaron's father-in-law and fellow maker John W. Smith for tip up carry. It comes with a Camouflage hank hand-stitched by Aaron's Mother.
