Details
The Aaron Frederick Custom Work Horse is a simple, straightforward fixed blade design that lives up to the name. The drop point blade is perfect for caping, skinning and general utility work with a clean, comfortable handle that offers multiple grips. This piece has a stonewashed AEB-L blade and green G10 handle scales.
Brand new, direct from Aaron Frederick.
Blade: A classic drop point blade executed in stonewashed AEB-L stainless steel comes equipped with a slicing high hollow grind. The spine swedge tapers the blade to a fine tip for piercing and detail work, while the ricasso forms an integral guard for added safety.
Handle: Blasted G10 scales attached to the full tang offer subtle traction for a secure grip and speed in the hand. The neutral handle design works in multiple grips, with a generous swell at the pommel to fill the hand.
Sheath: Carries via a brown leather belt sheath.
Bohler AEB-L: Originally developed for razor blades and often described as a stainless 52100, AEB-L takes a very fine edge, is easy to sharpen and has a high toughness with good corrosion resistance and better edge holding than carbon steels. Excellent edge stability (resistance to rolling and chipping) allows for a thinner edge and better cutting performance. AEB-L is produced by Sandvik as 13C26.
