This piece is Alan's "Fancy" version with Nichols Stainless Damascus blade, Timascus bolsters and clip, Marbled Carbon Fiber scales and custom titanium hardware. The Blade: Alan pulled out all the stops on this blade. It is a compound ground, harpoon tip, recurve Tanto made from Nichols Stainless Damascus steel. This blade is wild and wicked looking while still offing functional performance with a durable tip and slicing hollow grind in the recurve. The blade sports a two tone finish with dark etched grinds and swedge and satin flats. The blade rides smooth on phosphor bronze washers and an anodized custom pivot with collar. The blade deploys via large dual thumb studs or via the exposed blade tang which allows for top flipper deployment as well.

The Handle: The Curvo is built on a foundation of blue anodized titanium liners which also form the liner lock mechanism which delivers secure operation. A bronze anodized backspacer protects the blade in the closed position and is raised at the pommel for comfort and visual appeal. The most striking features of the Curvo are TiMascus bolsters fitted to Marbled Carbon Fiber scales both attached via custom titanium Torx hardware. A matching, 3D machined TiMascus pocket clip is attached for right hand, tip-up only carry.
