Alan Folts Curvo Folder Two-Tone CPM-154 Florentine Titanium Bolster Glow Kirinite

The custom Curvo folder made by Alan Folts is a wild and curvaceous design with striking visual appeal in both the shape and materials. This piece is Alan's "Standard" version with two-tone CPM-154 stainless steel blade, Florentine textured and anodized bolsters, clip and backspacer and Glow-in-the-Dark Kirinite acrylic handle scales. The Blade: Alan went all in on this blade design. It is a compound ground, harpoon tip, recurve Tanto made from American CPM-154 stainless steel. This blade is wild and wicked looking while still offing functional performance with a durable tip and slicing hollow grind in the recurve. The blade sports a two tone finish with dark tumbled grinds and swedge and satin flats. The blade rides smooth on phosphor bronze washers, deploying via large dual thumb studs. The tang of the blade is extended in the closed position allowing for top flipper deployment as well.

The Handle: The Curvo is built on a foundation of bright green anodized titanium liners which also form the liner lock mechanism delivering secure operation. A green anodized "Florentine" textured backspacer protects the blade in the closed position and is raised at the pommel for comfort and visual appeal. The most striking features of the Curvo are Florentine textured, anodized bolsters fitted to Glow Kirinite Acrylic scales both attached via anodized titanium Torx hardware. A matching, 3D machined, green Florentine pocket clip is attached for right hand, tip-up only carry.
