The elusive Baby Bear from Alan Folts is back and as good as ever. This ultra-compact ring knife makes a perfect every day carry fixed blade and excels in both utility and defensive tasks. This version comes with a “blackwash” finished CPM-154 blade, Kipps Custom Flake Blue Glow Carbon Acrylic scales, and custom leather belt sheath.

Blade: The diminutive blade provides 1.5 inches of razor sharp cutting edge executed in a shallow hollow grind with top swedge that tapers to a fine point. The Baby Bear slices and pierces well while retaining good durability. Jimping on the spine provides traction for power cutting and fine work.

Handle: Torx screw hardware attaches the contoured custom acrylic handle scales over blue liners for a striking look and comfortable grip. The finger ring hole is very secure for heavy use.

Sheath: Carries via a custom Dabney leather horizontal belt sheath.

CPM-154: A particle metallurgy (PM) version of Crucible 154CM that benefits from the refinement in the PM process. A great all-around blade steel, CPM-154 has D2 level edge retention, AEB-L level corrosion resistance and comparable toughness to other PM stainless steels with ease of sharpening/finishing.
