Alan Folts Custom Minimalist is a small everyday carry fixed blade made for maximum function with minimal size. The lightweight, well-balanced design has a small footprint, making it a perfect choice for discreet everyday carry. This “KeraMinimalist” version has a Kerambit blade profile in tumbled CPM-154 with Blue Fish Scale acrylic handles and anodized titanium hardware.
Brand new directly from Alan Folts.
Blade: Executed in hollow ground CPM-154, the dramatic hawkbill of the Karambit blade comes razor sharp with a rugged tumbled finish. For utility or defense, the hawkbill deliver unparalleled power in piercing and slicing with added leverage from the thumb scoop. The blade itself forms the guard, dropping past the handle for exceptional security.
Handle: Three deep finger grooves and lanyard create a secure and ergonomic grip. The addition of the lanyard extends the 3-finger grip to fill most hands. Anodized titanium Torx screw hardware attaches the smooth, contoured Blue Fish Scale acrylic handle scales to the full tang construction for a striking look.
Sheath: Kydex sheath with paracord neck lanyard, cord lock and removable belt hook.
CPM-154: A particle metallurgy (PM) version of Crucible 154CM that benefits from the refinement in the PM process. A great all-around blade steel, CPM-154 has D2 level edge retention, AEB-L level corrosion resistance and comparable toughness to other PM stainless steels with ease of sharpening/finishing.
