The Classwork is a prototype design from Alan Folts delivering a full size, tactical flipper with modern construction and high-end style. Alan delivers his signature design style that is sure to appeal to users and collectors alike. This piece comes with a harpoon-tip, recurve blade of hand rubbed CPM-154, polished titanium liners, Silver Lightning Strike Carbon Fiber scales and blue-grey G10 bolsters and back spacers.

Blade: The massive recurve blade is hand hollow ground with a harpoon tip and finished with a beautiful hand rubbed horizontal satin. Milled fullers add to the visual appeal while the jimped thumb ramp provides secure traction. The blade rides on a ball bearing pivot for fast, smooth flipper deployment.

Handle: Robust, polished titanium liners support sensational Silver Lightning Strike Carbon Fiber with blue-grey G10 bolsters which match the dual backspacers that ride proud to the liners. The liner lock has scallops for ease of operation and provides secure lockup and smooth operation.

This knife has no clip but includes a custom Folts Knives wrap from Dragoncut Design for carry and storage.

CPM-154: CPM-154 is a particle metallurgy version of 154CM that benefits from the refinement in the PM process providing it with an increase in toughness and easy of finishing. CPM-154 takes a very fine edge and is highly corrosion resistant. Edge retention is going to be on-par with CPM S30V while being easier to resharpen. A great all-around blade steel.
