Full-time custom maker and mentor Alan Folts is well known for eye-catching style and functional designs, including his custom and production Minimalist neck knives. The Linear liner lock (GPKnives Exclusive model) has a handle inspired by the ergonomic Utility while the blade is a performance powerhouse hollow ground Wharncliffe. This Tier 1 Prototype comes with an acid washed CPM-154 Wharncliffe blade, slate gray G10 scales and matching anodized clip, back spacer and liners.

Blade: The Wharncliffe profile delivers exceptional slicing performance a with razor like hollow grind and reverse Tanto point. Acid washed CPM-154 hides wear and is discreet in use and operation via the dual thumb studs is smooth and snappy thanks to rugged bronze washers at the pivot. A jimped thumb ramp provides traction for optimal control and can double as a front flipper.

Handle: Solid anodized titanium liners support contoured, matte blasted G10 handle scales for a comfortable grip on the sweeping ergonomic handle. The scalloped liner lock is easy to operate and delivers solid lockup for safe use while the jimped back spacer delivers balance and added traction. Includes information card and custom printed microfiber storage bag.

CPM-154: A particle metallurgy (PM) version of Crucible 154CM that benefits from the refinement in the PM process. A great all-around blade steel, CPM-154 has D2 level edge retention, AEB-L level corrosion resistance and comparable toughness to other PM stainless steels with ease of sharpening/finishing.
