This solid USA built Butterfly knife from Bear and Son Cutlery features a stonewash finished, clip point blade and Cobalt Blue handle. This style of cutlery has a myriad of uses from practical to tactical.

Blade: 1095HC steel has been ground to a piercing clip point profile with a high hollow grind and stonewash finish. It's pinned to the two handles for easy, maintenance use. The hollow ground plain edge is excellent for general use while maintaining good durability.

Handle: Two pieces of Cobalt Blue powder coated zinc were machined using channel construction and given lightening slot cutouts throughout. They add a nice texture for solid gripping. A T-Latch is connected to one that locks the handles together in the open and closed positions. Solid, well-built and easy to use. 

1095 High Carbon Tool Steel: Highly popular, simple carbon steel. Used extensively by both production and custom knife makers. Low abrasive wear due to low carbide content but very tough and easy to sharpen. Not corrosion resistant and will rust without proper care.
