The Blade: CPM M4 high speed super steel was chosen for its chart-topping wear resistance and toughness. Built in a familiar drop point style, crowned and then given a Scotch-Brite hand finish. This one is marked #49 on the back.

The Handle: Polished and blended 17-4 PH stainless steel bolsters meet up with natural Banksia pod handle scales with royal blue resin fill accents. It's simply stunning, fitted with custom mosaic fasteners and finished off with a hand tied brown leather lanyard. 

The 15016-161 Gold Class ships in a box with a full-grain brown leather sheath with ostrich inlay and numbered/dated Certificate of Authenticity.

About CPM-M4: M4 is a Molybdenum High Speed Tool Steel. It has a relatively high 1.3% carbon content for high hardness and excellent wear resistance. It offers better wear resistance and toughness than M2 or M3 alloys. Remember, however, that M4 is a tool steel - NOT a stainless - and must be wiped down/oiled after use to avoid corrosion.
