Description:

The Benchmade Meatcrafter is part of the Field to Table series and is a purpose-driven slicing knife that is at home in the kitchen and the field. Skinning, boning, slicing, and even filleting fish—if slicing is the task, then the tip-to-heel belly of the Meatcrafter will get the job done. An ergonomic Santoprene rubberized polymer handle is comfortable and secure even when wet. This version comes with a green handle, 6" tumbled CPM-154 ultra-sharp SelectEdge blade and two-piece Boltaron sheath with Hi-Vis orange or subdued gray for carry options.

CPM154: is a particle metallurgy version of 154CM that benefits from the refinement in the PM process providing it with an increase in toughness and easy of finishing. CPM-154 takes a very fine edge and is highly corrosion resistant. Edge retention is going to be on-par with CPM S30V while being easier to resharpen. A great all-around blade steel.
