The Benchmade Auto Fact 4170 takes the popular Fact folder and combines it with some inspiration from the classic Italian Stiletto automatic to deliver a fast, slim spear point automatic folder built with modern materials for serious daily use. Utilizing the same stainless steel liner, AXIS lock construction as the tactical Presidio II, the Auto Fact offers the high performance materials in a lightweight and low drag design. The CPM-S90V blade delivers exceptional performance for everyday carry and use. This version comes with a black DLC coated blade and gray aluminum handles with carbon fiber inlays.

Blade: Made from premium American CPM-S90V, the Auto Fact sports a dagger-like spear point blade with unsharpened swedge that gives it powerful piercing ability while retaining good strength for general use. Black DLC or Diamond-Like Carbon coating offers a discretely non-reflective that resists wear and corrosion. The saber grind offers good slicing performance on the slim blade while a simple pull of the AXIS lock bar deploys the knife with swift, coil spring driven automatic action.

Handle: Black-coated steel liners support brushed 6061-T6 billet aluminum scales with stunning carbon fiber inlays that make this a high-speed, low-drag design that any super-spy would be happy to carry. Plenty of thickness to fill the hand, the handles are shaped for a comfort in multiple grips. The ambidextrous AXIS lock mechanism is solid, smooth and reliable for secure lockup and backed by a slide safety to prevent unintentional deployment and lock disengagement. An open back construction reduces weight and makes for easy cleaning and maintenance.
