The 533 Mini Bugout Carbon Fiber from Benchmade Knives expands on the popular Bugout, delivering a smaller “go anywhere” ultralight folder. As with the original, the 533 is extremely slim, ergonomic and comes high in quality materials at an outstanding price point. This version comes with a stonewashed CPM-S90V blade and carbon fiber handles.

Blade: Classic drop point profile provides excellent overall utility at work or in the field with a tapering top swedge to refine the point. Made from American CPM-S90V stainless steel, the blade delivers exceptional edge retention and corrosion resistance. Phosphor bronze washers provide smooth operation via the ambidextrous blue anodized thumb studs.

Handle: Contoured carbon fiber offers enhanced rigidity while retaining lightweight durability and weather resistance. A blue anodized aluminum back spacers completes the easy-to-clean construction with an oversized lanyard hole at the pommel. A DLC coated titanium lock bar gives the AXIS lock smooth, solid and reliable performance with a sub-2 oz. package putting it firmly in the ultralight category.

Carries via a reversible stainless-steel mini deep carry clip.

CPM-S90V: A high alloy stainless steel made using the Crucible Particle Metallurgy (PM) process, CPM S90V offers superior edge retention (high wear resistance) with corrosion resistance similar to 440C. Toughness-edge retention balance is high, better than M390, with toughness being similar to S30V/VG10. An excellent choice where wear and corrosion resistance are key.
