The Benchmade 555HG-BLU Mini-Griptilian comes with a hollow ground, 154CM blade that has been satin finished. It has excellent cutting geometry and an easy to operate thumb hole opener. The Benchmade Axis Lock, a rolling bar riding along a slot in two machined stainless steel liners, provides a rock solid lock up. The handles are made from Blue Valox, a super-tough polymer resin, with a diamond-checkered pattern for a secure grip.
