The 565BK Mini Freek from Benchmade Knives is a more carry-friendly version of the utilitarian Freek AXIS lock folder but with the "Super Freek" treatment. Featuring premium layered gray and black G10 handles with red liners and black-coated CPM-M4. The Mini Freek delivers the same top-notch, every-day performance in a more compact, easy-to-carry package. Just like the original Freek, the Mini Freek is ready for some serious use.
CPM M4: This high speed tool steel delivers an excellent combination of high wear resistance with high impact toughness and strength. High vanadium carbide content delivers high wear resistance while the strength and toughness come from the fine grain size, small carbides and clean, Powder Metalurgy production. CPM M4 delivers the best combination of toughness and wear resistance for cutting tools.
