The Blade: The high performance blade is made from CPM S30V for exceptional wear and features a light bead-blast finish to reduce reflectivity. The high height saber grind makes the blade very strong without sacrificing slicing performance and a nearly full length swedge enhances the piercing capabilities of this knife by refining the tip. The serrated section of this model adds increased performance when cutting fibrous materials such as rope, cord or webbing. 

The Handle: Made with machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum handle scales attached to rigid, black-coated steel liners, the 5700 is a substantial folder. Add to this framework the robust, ambidextrous AXIS lock system and you have a folder that is easy to operate and highly reliable. The aluminum scales have a milled groove pattern and jimping at the index and spine that gives the knife a high level of security in the hand even in adverse conditions. The handle design is ergonomic and allows for comfortable use in a variety of grip positions.

An ambidextrous, black-coated, stainless steel, deep carry pocket clip is set for tip-up carry.

The Sheath:  Includes a heavy duty black cordura sheath with velcro closure.  Offers MOLLE compatibility and a belt carry option.
