A legendary, folding combat knife design gets an upgrade in the Benchmade 5700 Automatic Presidio II. Upgraded materials include groove milled 6061-T6 billet aluminum handle scales and a Cerakote coated CPM M4 blade. The automatic action is easily engaged via the indomitable AXIS lock mechanism and provides fast, one-handed deployment. The 5700 Automatic Presidio II is a larger mid-sized folder built to uncompromising specifications for hard use in the field. This version comes with burnt bronze anodized handles and partially serrated, gray Cerakote coated M4 blade.

Blade: The high performance blade is made from CPM M4 tool steel offering exceptional toughness and edge retention. A partially serrated cutting edge offers some clean slicing plain edge with aggressive serrations for tough, fibrous materials. The high height saber grind makes the blade very strong without sacrificing slicing performance and a nearly full length swedge tapers the tip to enhance piercing. The blade is finished with a durable, non-reflective, poly-ceramic gray Cerakote coating that offers enhanced corrosion resistance on the non-stainless steel. Fast, automatic and ambidextrous deployment is achieved with a simple pull of the AXIS lock bar.

Handle: Made with Burn Bronze anodized, 6061-T6 billet aluminum handle scales attached to skeletonized, black oxide steel liners, the 5700 is a substantial folder. Add to this framework the robust, ambidextrous AXIS lock and you have a folder that is reliable and easy to operate. Milled grooves on the scales and jimping at the index and spine gives the knife a high level of security in the hand even in adverse conditions. The handle design is ergonomic and allows for comfortable use in a variety of grip positions.

Carries via a reversible, tip-up, stainless steel deep carry clip. Includes MOLLE compatible, jump ready nylon sheath.
