The Benchmade 698-1901 Foray gent-style folder features clean lines and a classic appeal offering all-around utility. This Limited Edition version offers the same sleek styling as the original with a satin finished blade of American CPM-20V but substitutes a beautiful Red Linen Micarta for the standard G10 and smoke gray PVD and gold hardware. Limited production, individually serial numbered.

Blade: Premium 20CV stainless tool steel was chosen for the Foray for its high wear resistance for all-day edge retention handling your daily tasks. Nearly 3.25 inches done in a utility drop point style with strong upper swedge grind and a recurve cutting edge. Satin finished and equipped with dual, gold colored thumb studs the blade is ambidextrous for right or left hand opening.

Handle: Smooth, Red Linen Micarta scales are attached to full stainless steel liners. Excellent ergonomics for proper finger placement and chamferred edges provide a comfortable grip in hand. Jimping on the spine near the blade adds a nice spot for the thumb to rest as well as added traction during use. The hardware and oversize pivot are gray PVD coated while the open back construction is completed with gold colored spacers, matching the studs.

Carries via a reversible, tip-up only, deep carry pocket clip.

About CPM-20CV: A highly wear resistant, powder metallurgy stainless tool steel, the steel contains a large volume of extremely hard vanadium carbides which provide excellent wear resistance. CPM-20CV contains the highest amount of chromium of any high-vanadium stainless steel currently available. The chromium-rich matrix provides outstanding corrosion resistance.
