The Warren Osborne designed 928 Proxy built in the USA by Benchmade Knives is a hard-working flipper with tons to offer. The handle is a unique two piece G10/Titanium construction for strength and durability. The flipper action is smooth and reliable thanks to thrust bearing washers at the pivot. The Proxy is built for hard-use and the every day user alike.
The Blade: Nearly four inches of premium CPM-20CV stainless tool steel for unmatched wear resistance. The drop point style has a matte grey satin finish with dual thumb studs and an integral flipper tab. The studs function primarily as blade stops with the flipper being the primary opener. Thrust bearings offer some of the smoothest action on the planet.
The Handle: One piece desert tan G10 is contoured for grip and comfort creating a single solid backspacer/front handle scale formation. It matches up with an equally contoured titanium frame lock back side. Dependable frame lock up with adjustable lockface.
The Proxy Frame Lock Flipper includes a reversible tip up carry pocket clip.
About CPM-20CV: A highly wear resistant, powder metallurgy stainless tool steel, the steel contains a large volume of extremely hard vanadium carbides which provide excellent wear resistance. CPM-20CV contains the highest amount of chromium of any high-vanadium stainless steel currently available. The chromium-rich matrix provides outstanding corrosion resistance.Specifications
