Blade: Classic drop point profile provides excellent overall utility at work or in the field with a tapering top swedge to refine the point. Crafted from American CPM-S30V stainless steel, the blade delivers a good balance of performance while still being relatively easy to maintain. Black, poly-ceramic Cerakote delivers a durable, non-reflective and corrosion resistant finish for discreet use. Smooth, ambidextrous operation is achieved via the dual, black coated aluminum thumb studs paired with rugged phosphor bronze washers.

Handle: Black CF-Elite, a new ultralight weight composite, further reduces the weight while delivering good toughness and resistance to the elements. It has moderate diamond texturing on both sides to aid in grip without being aggressive on the user or other equipment. Black coated aluminum barrel spacers complete the easy-to-clean construction with an oversized pommel hole for lanyard attachment. A coated titanium lock bar gives the AXIS lock smooth, solid and reliable performance while keeping the weight down to a scant 1.8 oz.

Carries via a reversible (tip-up), mini, stainless steel deep carry clip with black oxide finish.

CPM-S30V: A powdered stainless steel with high levels of edge retention and corrosion resistance S30V was developed specifically for use in knife blades. The powdered process gives it a very refined grain, improving the sharpness and toughness. S30V is a great, all around steel with high levels of performance.
