The Benchmade 570-1 Manual Presidio II is the next evolution of this legendary, folding combat knife design. This version retains the S30V drop-point blade and robust steel liner construction but the scales have been replaced with Benchmade's new ultralight, Black CF-Elite material that offers exceptional performance at a more affordable price point with no sacrifices where it counts. A mid-sized folder, the 570-1 Manual Presidio II is built to uncompromising specifications for hard use in the field. The 570SBK-1 comes with a black Cerakote coated, partially serrated blade.

Blade: Drop point blade is made from high performance, American CPM S30V for well balance performance. The high height saber grind makes the blade very strong without sacrificing slicing performance and a nearly full length swedge enhances the piercing capabilities of this knife over a traditional saber grind. Finished with a tough, poly-ceramic Black Cerakote, the blade is discreetly non-reflective with enhanced corrosion resistance. The partially serrated section makes quick work of tough, fibrous materials. Durable phosphor bronze washers make for smooth deployment via the dual thumb studs.

Handle: Made with Benchmade's new ultralight Black molded CF-Elite, the handle scales offer traction, durability and easy maintenance. Attached to rigid steel liners, the 570-1 is still a substantial folder especially paired with the ambidextrous AXIS lock system. The AXIS lock is smooth, reliable, strong and ambidextrous making the 570-1 a great choice for left or right-handed users.

Carries via a black oxide finished, reversible (tip-up) deep carry stainless steel pocket clip.

CPM-S30V: A powdered stainless steel with high levels of edge retention and corrosion resistance S30V was developed specifically for use in knife blades. The powdered process gives it a very refined grain, improving the sharpness and toughness. S30V is a great, all around steel with high levels of performance.
