Blanton Cosby Custom Clip Point Stag Handled Fixed Blade Knife

This is fixed blade knife is a vintage custom from maker Blanton Cosby of Columbus, GA. This clip point has a Bowie-style blade finished in a handsome satin with maker's mark with an impressively stout handle comprised of genuine stag over red fiber liners.

Blade: The sub-3 inch clip point blade offers solid utility with a slicing hollow grind and nearly 5 mm thickness for durability. The classic Bowie-style clip point is ideal for hunting and outdoor use while the handsome satin finish offers plenty of visual appeal. Clean and oil to prevent corrosion.

Handle: Made from thick and rugged stag topped with a polished nickel silver guard the handle tops out at over an inch thick including the full tang. The contoured handle has a comfortable and secure feel in the hand with plenty of traction, visual appeal, and control for fine work and is securely attached via polished pins.
