The Mike Skellern designed Exskelibur II is back in a new, budget friendly option with the same sleek design as the original with hard working materials and finishing. You get the same great nail nick operation and rock solid frame lock construction as the original but this version comes with a G10 front scale, tumbled stainless steel frame lock and stonewashed D2 Tool Steel blade in a flat grind.

Blade: The clean, drop point profile of the Exskelibur remains and is executed in a stonewashed, flat ground D2 for every day utility. The small version II comes sans-top flipper with a generous nail nick for traditional, two-hand opening. The flat grind offers enhanced durability and the stonewashed finish hides wear from use making this version an excellent choice for every day use. The two hand operation and sub-3" blade length make this a great choice for urban environments as well as regions with legal restrictions.

Handle: The Exskelibur II has a slim and stylish handle that is fairly neutral for comfort in multiple grips. The front scales is solid, Black G10 while the back makes up the stainless steel integral frame lock. Open back construction makes for easy cleaning and maintenance and the tumbled finish hides wear well. The slim construction and sub-2 oz. weight make this sleek folder a joy to carry and use.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. D2 has a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) which gives it greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels making it semi-stainless. D2 offers a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance for a good all around knife steel.
