The Gulo Pro folder by Boker Knives is a budget friendly, hard use, production EDC version of custom maker Steve Kelly's original design. This Pro has the same great design and ergonomics with a satin finished D2 tool steel blade, ball bearing pivot and stainless steel handle and frame lock construction.

Blade: The robust, drop point profile blade is made from D2 tool steel for a well-balanced performance for everyday carry and use. The high height saber grind and subtle swedge at the tip help deliver great piercing and slicing performance while retaining plenty of durability. A fine satin finish lends this folder an elegance and style while the ball bearing pivot delivers fast and smooth operation via the bright blue PVD coated thumb stud. The "S.K. Knives' logo is etched on the back of the blade.

Handle: The slim handle offers an ergonomic grip and easy to carry profile in the pocket. Front and back handle slabs are made from solid stainless steel with milled grooves for a secure grip as well as aesthetics. Both scales are internally milled for weight relief while the back scale forms the integral frame lock mechanism for smooth operation and secure lock up. A generous oval hole is provided on both scales for lanyard attachment and matching blue PVD barrel spacers round out the open back handle construction. A lockable nylon zipper pouch is included for storage and transport.

Carries via a tip-up, right hand, blue PVD coated stainless steel pocket clip.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. With a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) D2 offers greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels. With a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance D2 is a well-balanced, all around knife steel.
