Blade: The broad trailing point D2 tool steel blade has a high flat grind for optimal performance and comes with an acid stonewashed finish that is low profile in use and hides wear. Relatively thin at the spine for good slicing, the blade gets added strength from the wide profile. A ball bearing pivot makes for smooth flipper deployment that is fast and decisive with plenty of momentum from the large blade. 

Handle: High traction, honeycomb milled G10 scales house the blade and single inset liner which forms the smooth operating lock mechanism. The broad handle offers a full grip while being easy to carry in the pocket, with brass pivot collars delivering a subtle pop of color.

D2 Tool Steel: Used as a die cutting steel since WW II, D2 offers a good combination of hardness and wear resistance with moderate toughness and stain resistance. High chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) gives D2 better corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels.
