The Serge Panchenko designed Gust from Boker Plus offers Serge's quintessential design aesthetic in a robust and budget friendly platform. This version of the Gust comes with an acid stonewashed D2 tool steel blade, satin finished raw copper front scale and stonewashed steel frame.

Blade: The spear point blade is made from acid etched and stonewashed D2 tool steel for a rugged and discreetly non-reflective finish. Riding on a smooth bronze washer pivot, the blade deploys via the ambidextrous oval blade hole. A mid -height saber grind and top swedge provides a good balance of cutting performance and durability, lending this blade to the heavier end of EDC use.

Handle: A satin finished raw copper pairs with the stainless steel frame and open construction barrel spacers to form a robust, comfortable handle. Raw copper with develop a unique natural patina over time with carry and use. The Serge Panchenko logo is milled into the front scales, along with groove milling that adds traction and visual appeal. The steel frame lock construction is tough yet smooth to operate, while interior milling on both scales reduces the overall weight. A generous hole is provided for lanyard attachment.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. With a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) D2 offers greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels. With a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance, D2 is a well-balanced, all around knife steel.
