Details

The Serge Panchenko designed Gust from Boker Plus offers Serge's quintessential design aesthetic in a robust and budget friendly platform. The Gust comes with a tumbled D2 tool steel blade, stainless front scale with tumbled bronze colored finish and stonewashed steel frame lock site.

Brand new item directly from Boker Knives.

Blade: The spear point blade is made from stonewashed D2 tool steel, riding on a smooth bronze washer pivot for deployment via the oval blade hole. The blasted and tumbled blade is non-reflective and hides wear from use. The mid height saber grind and top swedge offer a good balance of cutting performance and durability lending this blade to the heavier end of EDC use.

Handle: The matching blasted and stonewashed steel frame lock side pairs with a tumbled, brass colored steel front to offer a robust yet comfortable handle. The Serge Panchenko logo is milled into the front scales along with groove milling that adds traction and visual appeal. The steel frame lock construction is tough yet smooth to operate while interior milling on both scales reduces the overall weight. A generous hole is provided for lanyard attachment.

Carries via a right hand, tip-up, stainless steel pocket clip.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. D2 has a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) which gives it greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels making it semi-stainless. D2 offers a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance for a good all around knife steel.
