The Boker Plus Italy Pro-Hunter with Cocobolo handles and Bohler N690Co steel is one in a series of knives made through a partnership with Fox Knives, based in Maniago, Italy. They are built in Italy to Boker Plus specifications featuring high quality materials with excellent craftsmanship and precision. The Pro hunter has a broad belly drop point blade that works well as a skinner and comes with a stone washed finish and dual thumbstuds. The knife is extremely well made with flush liners and beautiful wood scales that have been milled to match the liners. Large cutouts have been made in the liners to help reduce weight and this is very apparent when the knife is picked up for the first time. Safety is always a primary concern on any new knife design, and the Pro Hunter features a deep index finger cutout to prevent the hand from sliding forward and a lock safety that can be deployed to prevent the knife from unlocking. This large folder has a hole for an optional lanyard, and includes a nice modern leather pouch with snap closure and elastic sides. Each knife has a serial number on the blade and the retail box. The Pro Hunter is another great addition to the Boker product range.
