Details
The Boker Jive is a production version of the custom design by American knife maker Brian Efros. This stout, compact EDC folder offers the same great design in a more available platform while retaining high-quality construction including solid titanium handles and clip, a ball bearing pivot and satin finished D2 tool steel blade.
Brand new, direct from Boker Knives.
Blade: Deploying fast and smooth on the bearing pivot the classic recurve clip point blade opens via dual thumb studs. Satin finished D2 tool steel provides a classy look and solid performance with a durable high saber grind.
Handle: Solid titanium handle slabs joined in an open back construction form the ergonomic handle. Comfortably contoured and matte gray finished, the handles have milled grooves for a faux bolstered look. The integral frame lock has a steel lock face for smooth, reliable operation and solid lockup.
Carries via a right-hand titanium pocket clip.
D2 Tool Steel: Used as a die cutting steel since WW II, D2 offers a good combination of hardness and wear resistance with moderate toughness and stain resistance. High chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) gives D2 better corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels.
