French custom knife maker Raphaël Durand has collaborated with blacksmith, knife maker and riot squad canine officer Sam Lurquin to create the Kerberos folder that has been produced by Boker Knives. Designed to offer Lurquin's former colleagues the perfect tool for their work the Kerberos design delivers a seamless blend of modern tactical and timeless elegance. Comes with a satin finished D2 tool steel blade and 3D machined and contoured black G10 handles.

Blade: The D2 tool steel blade has a beautifully sweeping clip point blade with an elegant top swedge and fine, horizontal satin finish. The blade deploys via an ambidextrous thumb disk and is fast and smooth, especially for a back lock. The blade is equipped with a nearly full flat grind for a balance of durability and slicing performance while the top swedge provides a robust piercing point. The smooth thumb scoop that provides a solid platform for harder cutting tasks.

Handle: A classic, Mediterranean influenced backlock, the Durand is has beautifully contoured smooth black G10 handles with a generous palm swell that fills the hand. The handle is tapered in a way that locks the knife into the hand without the need for large finger grooves that limit grip options. The lack of steel liners keeps the weight low while the integral washer milling offers smooth operation. The back lock is smooth to operate and rock solid. A black paracord lanyard is attached for convenience of use.

The Kerberos does not include a pocket clip.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. D2 has a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) which gives it greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels making it semi-stainless. D2 offers a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance for a good all around knife steel.
