Boker Plus Kwaiken OTF All Black Aluminum VG-10 OTF Automatic Knife (3.40" Blade) 06EX554

Built for one-thumb speed, the Boker Plus Kwaiken OTF All Black fires a black-coated VG-10 straight back blade out the front with a hard, loud snap. Every inch wears matte black, from slider to tip.

• Black VG-10 Blade - VG-10 is a Japanese stainless steel that takes a razor edge easily and holds off rust. It won't outlast premium powder steels between sharpenings, but it touches up fast on a stone. A black coating cuts glare and keeps the look stealthy.
• Black Aluminum Handle - The slim aluminum body stands up to daily use without adding bulk. The matte black finish matches the blade for a fully blacked-out look from end to end.
• Automatic OTF Action - Push the top-mounted thumb slider forward and the blade fires straight out the front with a sharp, audible crack. Pull the slider back and the blade vanishes into the handle. One thumb handles both jobs, with no pivot to swing open.
• Tip-Down Pocket Clip - A stainless steel clip carries the knife point-down in the pocket. When you draw it, the slider is already on top and ready to fire. Left-hand carriers should note that the clip mounts on the right side only and can't be swapped.

The Boker Plus Kwaiken OTF

Lucas Burnley drew the Kwaiken from a short, straight Japanese dagger. It has become one of the most successful collaborations between the custom maker and Boker. The OTF version keeps that long, slender silhouette but stores the blade inside the handle instead of on a pivot. That makes it the most action-driven member of the family. Pull it from a jeans pocket and your hand is already in a cutting grip, thumb on the slider, before the blade ever leaves the handle.
