The Boker Mini Kwaiken in D2 and Milled Titanium offers the same great knife, designed by Lucas Burnley with a sleek, modern design, in a more budget friendly option. Scaled down from the original Boker Kwaiken, the Mini makes for an excellent casual carry option thanks to the more compact and easy to carry size, perfect for every day cutting tasks. This version has a satin finished D2 blade and Milled Titanium Scales.

Blade: The D2 Tool steel blade has a stunning satin finish and integral blade flipper. Jimping on the tab enhances traction allowing the blade to be easily deployed. Riding on IKBS ball bearings, the blade action is quick and smooth.

Handle: Bead-blasted stainless steel liners form the foundation of the handle, including the single liner lock mechanism. Milled titanium handle scales have been secured to the liners via Torx screw construction maintaining a lightweight feel and handsome appearance while enhancing traction over the original, non-textured scales. A small stainless steel pocket clip is attached for tip-up right hand only carry.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. D2 has a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) which gives it greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels making it semi-stainless. D2 offers a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance for a good all around knife steel.
