Slim steel construction is minimalist and functional, perfect for everyday cutting tasks. Riding on a ball bearing pivot, the Wharncliffe blade opens fast and smooth via the index flipper. The Petit comes with a satin finished D2 blade and all stainless steel handle construction.

Blade: Outfitted with a simple and straightforward Wharncliffe blade the Petit is all about functional utility. The blade is flat ground and satin finished D2 tool steel for well-balanced performance and rides on a ball bearing pivot for flipper deployment that is quick and flawless.

Handle: Two robust slabs of subtly contoured stainless steel form the handle with internally milled pockets for weight reduction. A full G10 back spacer helps to protect the blade from damage when closed with an inline pin for lanyard attachment. An integral frame lock is cut from the rear slab and delivers solid lock up and smooth operation.

Carries via a reversible, tip-up, stainless steel pocket clip.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. D2 has a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) which gives it greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels making it semi-stainless. D2 offers a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance for a good all-around knife steel.
