The Darriel Caston designed Rocket Oval Bolt Pen by Boker Plus puts a creative spin on the typical bolt action ink pen. Mr Caston, in his designing, was trying to solve the number one complaint of the bolt action pen...the protruding bolt being a snag hazard!

To solve this, Darriel made the pen body oval instead of round. This way he could keep a flat, ridged bolt flush with the body of the pen. It is only slightly higher when in the open, writing position. Pretty smart, and comfortable. This allows for easy, unobtrusive access in any pocket or pack.

This Boker Plus version is built from solid Brass with black ink installed. The brass construction of this version gives the pen an excellent hand feel and will form a unique patina with time and use. It's also simple and solid with its four-piece construction. Minus the ink cartridge and spring, it consists of the pen body, the bolt, pocket clip and end screw. That's all there is to it! The end screw is a Torx.
