Inspired by the world-famous German WWII Karabiner 98k carbine (Mauser 98) the Boker 98k Damascus derives design elements of the 98k bayonet and incorporates a unique, hand forged, Chad Nichols Ripple pattern Damascus blade made from Mauser carbine barrel steel. This classic back lock jack knife sports German walnut wood handle scales, steel bolsters and Nichols Damascus blade. An amazing collector's item, each piece is serial numbered and includes a certificate of authenticity.

Blade: An iconic clip point blade is made from hand forged Damascus steel from Chad Nichols in an eye catching "Ripple" pattern. Equipped with a timeless back lock mechanism for smooth operation, the high hollow saber grind makes this a durable, high performance utility blade is you choose to use it. Stylish and robust, the 98k is an excellent collectors' piece or dress carry option with plenty of visual appeal.
Handle: Steel bolsters top the handsome, walnut wood handle scales which are mounted to steel liners with stainless steel pins for a rugged and comfortable handle, similar to a Barlow. This is a comfortable handle built for serious use while retaining an appealing aesthetic with the diagonally grooved structure of the bayonet handle for a secure grip. Under the steel bolster, the transverse groove for lateral cleaning of the shaft of the cleaning rod holder has also been adopted. A stainless steel back spring with a raised tab provides secure and simple lock back operation.

Nichols Damascus: Damascus offers the performance of a modern steel while delivering a unique look from the pattern welded layers and acid etched finish. Available in multiple patterns, Damascus gives a knife a striking and singular look. Carbon steel Damascus does require care to prevent corrosion.
