Boker Solingen Daily Knives AK1 Drop Point Mustard Micarta RWL34 Fixed Blade 120502

Produced in collaboration with knifemaker Alex Kremer and Daily Customs, the Boker Daily Knives AK1 is a compact and versatile everyday fixed blade inspired by the utility of Scandinavian daily carry fixed blades. Born in 1993 in Fulda, Germany Alex Kremer started making his first knives at the age of 18. He designed the AK1 around high performance RWL-34 stainless steel blade and an ergonomic and comfortable handle made with durable burlap Micarta scales. For added versatility the handle can be dismantled using the Torx key provided and can be replaced by a wide range of alternative scales developed and produced in conjunction with Daily Customs. A precision machined lanyard hole at the end of the handle can be turned around when the handle scales are dismantled based on user preference.

This version comes with a drop point blade and Mustard brown burlap Micarta handle scales.

Blade: The saber ground, drop point blade is made from satin finished, cryo treated RWL-34 stainless steel for optimal performance and ease of maintenance. The drop point is versatile for slicing, piercing and fine work while the saber grind balanced cutting performance and durability. The blade is marked with Alex Kremer, Daily Customs and Boker Tree Brand logos.

Handle: Attached to the full tang blade are chamfered burlap Micarta scales that have been designed for a minimal carry footprint while maintaining solid ergonomic comfort. Tapering from the center toward both the blade and pommel creates a secure grip with a minimalist design. Scales are easily removed and replaced using the included Torx key and with the scales off you can flip the precision milled lanyard loop so it is hidden inside the handle if not in use.

Carries via a high quality black leather belt sheath with sewn in Ulti-Clip.

RWL-34: RWL34, named after the world-famous knife maker Robert W Loveless, was developed by Damasteel as a powder metallurgy version of the Japanese ATS34. RWL34 offers high strength and toughness combined with extreme edge sharpness that is easy to maintain. RWL34 most appreciated features among knife makers are the ease to work with and the ability to mirror polish finish. Preforms similarly to CPM-154.
