The Boker Solingen Optima Night Hunter is a full size, traditional folding hunter that combines an elegant and utilitarian design with modern manufacturing and materials to deliver a both style and performance. A satin finished stainless steel blade is housed in lightweight Black G10 handles with contrasting Glow Orange G10 inlays and a rock solid back lock.

Blade: The German made, 440C stainless steel blade is made in a utilitarian drop point profile with full flat grind for good durability and slicing performance with plenty of point for piercing and detail work. A generous nail nick on the blade makes for easy opening. This blade is simple, functional and timeless in design.

Handle: A classic folding Hunter-style handle is delivered with a blend of modern and traditional execution. Polished nickel silver bolsters and liners deliver a classic look with great heft in the hand. Orange polymer inlays give a more modern look and allow for the knife to be easily found even at night thanks to glow-in-the-dark properties. Charge in daylight or use a strong flashlight for a few minutes and get hours of intense light. A solid, stainless steel back lock is housed in the handle and is solid and smooth to operate. A large hole at the pommel allows for lanyard attachment. The front scale sports the Solingen "Tree Brand" shield.

The Optima Night Hunter does not include a pocket clip.

440C Stainless Steel: 440C sets the bar by which corrosion resistance of all other stainless steels are measured against. It offers excellent corrosion resistance, good edge retention and easy sharpening.
