Bradford Knives Guardian5 Ghost Flat Ground Nimbus 3V

Brand new Guardian5 fixed blade from Bradford Knives with Ghost G-10 and Full Height Flat ground premium CPM-3V blade steel. The 5 is great for really getting into hard-use cutting, chopping batoning etc. It's a step up from the 4 for larger cutting tasks while remaining a size that won't take up too much room in your pack.

The Blade: This is a full tang construction using hardcore CPM-3V tool steel at 0.200 inches thick. Right on five inches in cutting edge here with a nice, clean flat grind for no-fuss slicing. Razor sharp right out of the box with a worn-in Nimbus (Black Stonewash) finish. Modified spear point profile is handy for slicing and piercing. Jimping on the thumb rest and forward choil add a nice grip.

The Handle: Thick removable/interchangeable Ghost G-10 handle scales are heavily diamond-textured for a sure grip in any environment. They are secured to the tang via 416 stainless custom fasteners heat treated to 40 Rc and dark tumbled.

A black MOLLE Nylon sheath with front storage pocket is included with your Guardian5. It's slim, lightweight, durable and an easy carry for belt/leg/pack attachment. The Guardian5 from Bradford will fill the need for a quality USA built hard-use fixed blade and then some. 

We've found 3V to be tougher than O1 and 5160 steels + easier to sharpen than D2 and S30V
