The Buck 112 Ranger lock back folder is a compact version of the iconic 110 folder and now being offered in a custom art piece version designed by Garett Finney of Finney Knives. The "Tracks" 112 Ranger has a file-worked blade and a custom handle made from a black jet and elk tine matrix inlaid with silver and copper spacers. This Legacy Ranger 112 is a numbered, limited production of 100 pieces. Made in the USA and backed by the Buck "Forever" Warranty.

Brand new, direct from Buck Knives.

Blade: The blade is made from polished, BOS Heat Treated 420HC which offers great toughness and corrosion resistance with good edge retention, ease of sharpening and razor sharpness. The deep hollow grind on this clip point blade would make this a proficient slicer, if you could bring yourself to use it. The blade opens via a generous nail nick just like the original while the spine is equipped with custom file work. The back of the blade is laser etched with the Finney Knives logo and the number of 100.

Handle: The familiar 112 construction gets upgraded with custom textured nickel sliver bolsters and liners, with jet "track" inlays on the bolsters. The scales are made of a jet and elk tine matrix inlaid with silver and copper spacers with a "Buck" shield inlaid on the front. The back-spring continues the file work from the spine leaving this Ranger customized from tine to tail. A classic folder design elevated to collectible art.

Legacy Edition: Comes with a glass topped, wood display box, Certificate of Authenticity and black leather belt sheath.

420HC Stainless Steel: 420HC is a stainless steel that provides excellent rust resistance, ease of re-sharpening and moderate edge retention while being exceptionally tough for a stainless steel. With BOS heat treat from Buck it is said to preform similarly to VG-10 in wear resistance.
