The Buck 112 Ranger lock back folder is a compact version of the iconic 110 Hunter. The 112 is now being offered in a Legacy Limited Edition custom art piece version designed by Buck Legacy Historian and Custom Knife Artisan Joe Houser. This version comes with a mirror polished 420HC blade and Ironwood handles with black Micarta and Turquoise spacers. This Legacy Ranger 112 is a numbered, limited production of 250 pieces. Made in the USA, backed by the Buck "Forever" Warranty.

Blade: The blade is made from polished, BOS Heat Treated 420HC which offers great toughness and corrosion resistance with good edge retention, ease of sharpening and razor sharpness. The deep hollow grind on this clip point blade would make this a proficient slicer, if you could bring yourself to use it. The blade opens via a generous nail nick just like the original.

Handle: The familiar 112 construction gets upgraded with polished nickel sliver bolsters and liners and beautiful desert Ironwood handle scales. Between the bolsters and the scales are Turquoise and black Micarta spacers with contrasting red liners. Timeless and functional, the back lock mechanism is tried and true. A classic folder design elevated to collectible art.

Legacy Edition: Comes with a distressed brown leather pouch sheath, slide top pine wood box and Certificate of Authenticity.

420HC Stainless Steel: 420HC is a stainless steel that provides excellent rust resistance, ease of re-sharpening and moderate edge retention while being exceptionally tough for a stainless steel. With BOS heat treat from Buck it is said to preform similarly to VG-10 in wear resistance.
