Blade: Cryogenically Heat Treated S30V is executed in the iconic clip point profile useful for just about any cutting chore. Built to have your back at camp, on the trail or in the streets it comes in a machined satin finish with Buck's Advanced Edge2x finished edge for excellent performance for both edge retention and corrosion resistance. A generous nail nick makes opening the blade simple whatever the task.

Handle: The Ranger 112 handle profile hasn't changed but the handles are upgraded to stainless steel liners, brushed nickel silver bolsters and high traction black G10 handle scales. The Pro looks fantastic and offers enhanced security and durability for use. Fully ambidextrous for right or left handed users.

CPM-S30V: A martensitic, powdered stainless steel with high levels of wear and corrosion resistance. Its chemistry promotes the formation and even distribution of vanadium carbides, which are harder and more effective at cutting than chromium carbides. This gives it a very refined grain, further improving the sharpness and toughness. S30V is a great, all around steel with high levels of performance.
