Buck Bantam Small LockBack Black 284

The Buck Bantam family of pocket knives is a budget-friendly lockback folder built in the USA perfect for everyday carry. The Bantam comes in four sizes to fit all hands and a wide array of colors and patterns. 

The 284 is the small size coming in at 6.5 inches overall with just under a three inch blade length. Glass-reinforced Nylon handles are strong, lightweight and great for all-weather environments. This particular version is a straight Black that will help hide the wear and tear over the years. Subtle texturing on the top and bottom of each scale with nice ergonomics supply a fine grip.

A drop point 420HC steel blade has machined satin grinds with tumbled flats and upper swedge grind. Its shape is very utilitarian for all-around use and comes quite sharp out of the box. Ambidextrous dual thumb stud openers coupled with a reliable lock back mechanism make the Bantam fully righty and lefty friendly. 

This Bantam does not include a pocket clip as it is small enough to slide right in a pocket, pack or purse. This is an excellent starter pocket knife and one that will serve you well wherever the trail takes you.
