Details

The Buck Creek Big Diamond Back is a classic pattern based on the Stockman, believed to be a scaled down version of the Cattleman pattern. The Big Diamond Back has a sweeping handle and three blades: clip, spey, and sheepsfoot blade. This version comes with red pick bone covers and a German stainless steel blade.

Brand new item by Buck Creek, Germany.

Blades: The three German stainless steel blades are fully flat ground with mirror polished finishes for utility and style. The full flat grind provides a good combination of durability and cutting performance with solid piercing and control in fine work. The Big Diamond Back sports a three blade combo to handle a variety of tasks: a large clip point with long pull for the primary backed up by spey and sheepsfoot blade with nail nicks. This model has strong back springs with solid slip joint operation.

Handle: The rugged red pick bone covers run the full length of the handle and have a great in-hand feel with added traction. The covers are attached with brass pins to brass liners in the traditional style, framed by polished nickel silver bolsters. The front cover sports an embossed Buck Creek shield.
