The Buck Kinetic Spear Series is the Hunting/Sport drop point Spear Head. Just about nine inches overall, this spear head easily attaches to your spear pole or shaft (not included).

This version has about a 2.5 inch cutting edge drop point blade perfect for target practice and hunting small game like our ancestors. It's Made in the USA with a thick full tang of Buck's heat treated 420HC steel and given a worn-in stonewashed finish.

There is no handle on this piece. The end opposite the point is ground down to a chisel angle to slide nicely into the slotted end of your pole. Secure the head with cordage and you're set. The 71 Kinetic Hunting Spear is a must pack item for the explorer that won't take up much real estate. It comes with a heavy-duty polypropylene sheath with paracord tie-downs. 

Bos 420HC: Buck's standard blade material approaches the wear resistance of high carbon alloys while delivering the corrosion resistance of a stainless steel. The exclusive Bos heat-treat process delivers a very user-friendly combination of superior corrosion resistance with excellent strength for wear resistance and durability and ease of sharpening. For best performance blades are hardened to a Rockwell hardness of Rc 58.
