Buck Ranger Small Skinner Genuine Ebony Fixed Blade 0113BRS
The Buck Ranger Skinner was designed with function in mind, as Buck has combined some of their most popular hunting knives to create this compact skinning knife. The knife is a great "just right" size and fits in the hand well. Genuine Ebony wood scales and brass bolsters give the knife a very classic look while the razor sharp, Bos Heat Treated 420HC stainless steel blade does the serious work: cutting. This Hunter/Skinner is ready to tackle any job from farm to field and everywhere in-between.
Brand new directly from Buck Knives, USA.
Blade: The drop point blade is made from Bos heat treated 420HC for exceptional performance with a slicing, satin hollow grind. The fine tip pierces well and works with the thin edge of the hollow grind to deliver powerful slicing that is easy to control. Just what you want in a skinning knife.
Handle: Genuine Ebony wood scales are attached to the full tang blade with brass pins and flush fit to the polished brass bolsters. The handles are a simple, neutral design that offers comfort in a variety of grips with a perfect balance for fine, controlled cuts. A generous hole is provided for lanyard attachment.
Carries via a black leather belt sheath.
Bos 420HC: Buck's standard blade material approaches the wear resistance of high carbon alloys while delivering the corrosion resistance of a stainless steel. The exclusive Bos heat-treat process delivers a very user-friendly combination of superior corrosion resistance with excellent strength for wear resistance and durability and ease of sharpening. For best performance blades are hardened to a Rockwell hardness of Rc 58.
