The Handle: Two-piece construction on the Vertex with a Red anodized aluminum front scale and bead-blasted stainless steel back scale. Lots of cutouts to lighten the load even more creating an overall comfortable grip in-hand. The lock is cut out of the stainless scale for strong, secure lock up and easy push-down one-hand closing.
